Pre Trip Travels - Heading to Dover!

It’s time - MT07 cleaned and ready for it’s adventure!

Today I rode from Hertfordshire to Dover, straight after I finished work at 6pm.

I had a few technical setbacks, surprise surprise - my GoPro wasn’t working. 

I rode down south towards Dover, there were a lot of roadworks. So I looked down for literally 2 seconds at my map to see what was going on - then when I looked back up I’d joined some sort of queue between 100’s of lorries. I stuck to the left lane because I wanted to chill and go slow; but turns out it was just for truckers 😭😭😭 I then had to sit at 30mph for 10miles and no space to filter whilst lorries got checked. And all meanwhile the other side of the barrier was going 50mph+ right by me all staring like “haha she f’d up” - I couldn’t even look the other bikers in the eye when they passed…. 😂

Got to the b&b finally. It’s right by the pier, it’s called the ST Albans guest house and it has great parking for motorcycles. They have both ground anchors and wall anchors. I opted for the wall anchor and a disc lock.
